There were a total of of 95 players that debuted in the 2018 H&A season, West Coast & Fremantle had the equal most with 8 while Port Adelaide, Melbourne & Carlton had the equal lowest with 3.


Between Rounds 1-11 a total of 63 players debuted (Total % of Debuts R1-11: 66.3%), Fremantle had the most with 7 while Port Adelaide did not have a player debut during the same period.

To close out the 2018 H&A season there were a total of 32 players that debuted between Rounds 12-23 (Total % of Debuts R12-23: 33.7%), St Kilda had the most with 4 while Essendon did not have a player debut over the same period.


Players that debuted in Round 1 played an average of 16.2 games for the H&A season, 8 of 21 players that debuted in Round 1 played 20 games or more.
A total of 5 Bulldogs debuted last season, they averaged the most games of any team in the AFL with 14.6 games for the season. Port Adelaide averaged the lowest with 4.0 games played from only 3 players.

Port Adelaide, Western Bulldogs & Collingwood were ranked in the top 3 for percentage of games played upon making a debut, Essendon, West Coast & Hawthorn were ranked in the bottom 3.
