With the change in rules teams may look to improve ball movement in 2019, those teams that can achieve fast & efficient ball movement under the new rules will likely increase an Inside 50 count & subsequently increase scoring.

With only a very small sample size and teams at different levels of preparation for the 2019 season JLT 1 did still provide a turnaround from 2018, the bottom ranked teams of Carlton, St Kilda & Fremantle last season flipped the script and were ranked highest for Disposals Per Inside 50 in JLT 1.
Conversely teams that held onto the ball or could not accumulate Inside 50s ranked poorly, Nth Melbourne & Collingwood exceeded well in excess of 400 Disposals in JLT 1.
