Nat Fyfe is likely to return in Round 5 after missing last week due to concussion, Fyfe averaged 30.5 Disposals from his first 2 games of the 2019 season.

“He’s progressed through some of his clinical markers. The last test will be Thursday but he’s doing very well.” Dockers High Performance Manager, Jason Weber.

Keep Connor Blakely on your radar for the short term, he is due to return next week from a major hamstring injury suffered in the pre-season.

“We’ll get a good match sim into him this week with some full football training with the aim of him being available for next week.” Dockers High Performance Manager, Jason Weber.

St Kilda forward Matt Parker will be test for Round 5, he sustained an ankle injury in Round 4.

“We’ll have to see how he pulls up during this week” Saints Physiotherapist, Andrew Wallis.

Isaac Heeney will need to have a clear run at training on Thursday after sustaining a hip knock in Round 4, Heeney did complete the game but did have some post game issues.

“He pulled up a little bit sore after the (Round 4) game.. he’ll likely train on Thursday.. we hope he’ll come up (for Round 5)” Swans Head of Football, Charlie Gardiner.

AFL Fantasy Team Points: Round 4

Lachie Neale has acknowledged that a full pre-season has had a positive impact on his start to the 2019 season, he has averaged 42.0 Disposals from his last 3 games (Season Ave: 38.8).

“Having a full pre-season has helped me improve but in terms of my role, it’s pretty similar here to what it was at Fremantle.” Lachie Neale.

Joe Daniher is set to return to football this week, a decision will me made by Essendon as to whether he plays at AFL or VFL level. A Daniher return could impact Zac Clarke.

David Zaharakis (Cut knee) is questionable for Round 5, the Bombers play in the early game on Friday.

“David had quite a deep cut into his knee, which we’ll be monitoring through this week.” Club Physical Performance Manager, Justin Crow.

Round 5 Weather Forecast

Collingwood midfielder Dayne Beams is expected to play on Thursday night, he is likely a straight swap for Chris Mayne (Back) at the selection table for the Magpies this week.

Sam Wright has been declared ready to play at AFL level this week by Nth Melbourne coach Brad Scott, Bailey Scott is also available after being rested in Round 4 but it is not yet known whether he returns at AFL level.

Hawthorn recruit Chad Wingard isn’t expecting a move into the midfield anytime soon, he provided an update today.

“I can play that (Midfield) role if it’s required but at the moment I’m focusing on my role as a small forward.” Chad Wingard.

Adelaide Ruck Sam Jacobs has been ruled out for another week due to a knee injury, the Crows are now uncertain on a return date.

AFL Fantasy Game Notes: Round 4

West Coast speedster Lewis Jetta will likely return in Round 5, Josh Rotham replaced Jetta who was a late withdrawal in Round 4.

James Frawley (Hamstring) is sidelined for 3 weeks at Hawthorn, James Cousins (Ankle) & Ben Stratton (Concussion) will be a test.

GWS small forward Toby Greene has been ruled out for Round 5 due to a calf issue, he has not played since Round 1.

Matthew Kreuzer is expected to be available for Round 5, Sam Walsh (Glute) should see a full week of training & play this Sunday.

Carlton accepted the 2 game suspension for Will Setterfield, Nth Melbourne failed in an attempt to have a Luke McDonald 1 game suspension reversed.
