Another solid week for favourites as 7 of 9 won in Round 7, Nth Melbourne were the biggest mover last week opening at $1.88 & closing at $1.56.

The Bulldogs ($2.95) provided the biggest upset of the round defeating the Tigers by 47pts at Marvel Stadium, the Demons ($2.20) won their second game of the season defeating the Hawks by 5pts at the MCG.

Another positive return with 5 favourites clearing betting lines in Round 7, 25 of 63 (39.7%) favourites have cleared their betting lines in the 2019 H&A season.

Since Round 2 a total 21 of 45 (46.7%) favourites have cleared their betting lines including 15 of 27 (55.6%) in the last 3 weeks.

Scoring fell well short of expectations in several games over Round 7, as a result 5 games recorded an ‘Under’ result against Total Match Points lines.

The Adelaide-Fremantle game closed with a Total Match Points line at 166.5, both teams combined for 85pts.

Teams scored an average of 77.4pts in Round 7 (2nd lowest this season) for an average of 80.9pts for the season, this time last year teams scored an average of 84.2pts.

Nth Melbourne were the highest scoring team with 120pts ($15), Fremantle were the lowest scoring team with 34pts ($13).

Premiership Market Moves

Geelong & Collingwood are clear Premiership favourites at $3.75, GWS are 3rd favourite at $6.00

Richmond drifted out from $7.50 last week to $10 on the back of the loss to the Bulldogs, Adelaide are $19 after being $34 prior to Round 5.

Final 8 Market Moves

Brisbane are into $1.60 to play Finals in 2019 after being $3.65 prior to the JLT Series, the Tigers were $1.07 prior to Round 2 and are now out to $1.27.

Despite losing in Round 7 Fremantle are 2.30 to play Finals, the Dockers were $4.50 prior to Round 1.
