Brad Hill has been traded to St Kilda, he has played 149 games including 54 at Fremantle following his trade from Hawthorn (95 games) at the end of the 2016 season.

Hill was selected at Pick 33 in the 2011 AFL Draft, he was traded to the Dockers for Pick 23 in the 2016 Trade Period.

“He wins a lot of the ball, uses it well and has performed at a very high level over a long period of time, and pleasingly believes his best football is ahead of him.” Saints List Manager James Gallagher.

Hill averaged 25.1 Disposals, 3.7 Marks & 2.3 Tackles in the 2019 H&A season, he has played in 86.7% of games since the beginning of the 2013 H&A season.

“We also want to thank Bradley for his efforts at Fremantle. He’s a Doig Medallist and he finished third in 2019. He was very well liked among the playing group and we wish him and his partner all the best in the future.” Fremantle list manager Mark Micallef.

AFL FANTASY TAKE

Hill was on the fringe of being relevant in AFL Fantasy classic during his time at Fremantle, he averaged 88.7pts in the 2019 season and has a career season high average of 93.7pts in 2017.

St Kilda will utilise the ball use of Hill likely out on a wing in 2020, he will be critical for the Saints in transition.

It is worthwhile keeping an eye on Hill over the 2020 pre-season, he’s very much an outside consideration in classic and a consideration for the 2nd tier of premium selections in draft.
