Nth Melbourne defender Robbie Tarrant has been sidelined with a foot injury, he underwent a procedure last week in an attempt to relieve the pain from the ball of his foot.
Tarrant is expected to resume running next week, he will likely be unavailable for the first Marsh Series game scheduled for Friday week against the Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.

Tarrant averaged 15.8 Disposals, 6.2 Marks & 1.7 Tackles from 22 games in 2019, he has played in 98.9% of games since the beginning of the 2016 H&A season.

The injury for Tarrant is not likely to sideline him from Round 1 at this stage, it is worth motioning his status through the pre-season just in case there is no improvement and an opportunity does open up in the defence for the Kangaroos.
