Summary:Â The Bulldogs overpowered the Kangaroos by 44pts at Marvel Stadium on Friday night, Marcus Bontempelli was a standout scoring a game high 151pts.
The Bulldogs were without Tim English at the Ruck position, Jordon Sweet was respectable scoring 69pts. The Dogs played an experienced group through the midfield, Bontempelli, Macrae & Dunkley were used heavily at CBA’s.
Ed Richards received a high hit from Marley Williams in the 2nd Qtr & was taken from the ground, he did not return.

Todd Goldstein scored well against an inexperienced opposition, he scored 70pts in the first half finishing the game with 108pts. Tristan Xerri was a nice surprise as back-up to Goldstein, he recorded 24 Hit Outs for a score of 99pts.
The Kangaroos spread the midfield load over quite a few players, Jack Ziebell, Jared Polec, Luke Davies-Uniacke & Shaun Higgins did not play.
