Port Adelaide Mitch Georgiades won’t play in the Under 23 practice match against Adelaide at Thebarton Oval on Saturday, he pulled up sore following his first outing for the Power last week.
Georgiades did not play the last Qtr on Sunday against Brisbane in the Marsh Community Series, he recorded 9 Disposals, 2 Marks, 1 Tackle & 0 Goals.

Georgiades was selected at Pick 18 in the 2019 AFL Draft, he was drafted from Subiaco.

The injury is a little concerning for Georgiades in his first year of football at AFL level which will be a test for his endurance, he did not play in 2019 following a quad injury which resulted in multiple surgeries.

Port Adelaide have every right to be patient with Georgiades who has enormous talent, from a fantasy perspective that may result in a volatile option early in the 2020 season especially for a key forward.
If named at Round 1 Georgiades is a target in classic, he’s a pass in draft.
