Injury Update: Rhylee West

Western Bulldogs midfielder Rhylee West has been sidelined with a knee injury, he sustained the injury at training last week.

West is likely to miss 6-8 weeks, surgery is not required at this stage.

“We’ve been required to put him in a knee brace to allow the ligament to heal,”

“Once he comes out of the brace, we’ll have a good idea of when he returns to play, but at this stage we expect it to be six-to-eight weeks.” Bulldogs Medical Services Manager, Chris Bell.

West averaged 12.7 Disposals, 2.3 Marks & 1.0 Tackle from 3 games in 2019.

The injury to West allows for others to claim a spot in the Bulldogs team, Lipinski is currently sidelined with concussion however Ben Cavarra has been named for his debut in Round 1.

West is a pass in classic.
