St Kilda midfielder Jack Steele underwent wrist surgery earlier this week, an arthroscope was completed on Monday to address a bone spur causing pain in his right wrist.
Steele will be on a restricted training program in the lead up to Round 2, the Saints are hopeful he will play against the Bulldogs on Sunday June 14.
Steele averaged 21.9 Disposals, 4.0 Marks & 8.2 Tackles from 20 games in 2019, he recorded 22 Disposals in Round 1.
