Hawthorn defender Changkuoth Jiath injured his hamstring in match simulation on Friday, he is set to undergo scans to determine the extent of the injury.

Jiath made his debut for the Hawks last season, he did not play in Round 1 earlier this year.

Jiath averaged 14.5 Disposals, 3.5 Marks & 2.5 Tackles from 2 games in 2019.

CJ made his debut in defence for the Hawks late last season in the snow at Manuka Oval scoring 39pts, he followed up with a solid 68pts against the Suns in Round 22.

Jiath is interestingly priced in season long fantasy, a return to full fitness & absolute job security would be required prior to selection consideration.
