St Kilda
Jack Steele STK (DK $8,700, DS $16,450)Â has elevated his fantasy game to a new level in 2020, Saints coach Brett Ratten has reduced his tagging role this season which has allowed his contested ball winning ability to become a feature of his game.Â
Steele has averaged 90.8pts this season, he has averaged 99.3pts from his last 3 games.
The Eagles midfield is decimated through injury, Steele should be able to get to work in his midfield role producing a decent return.Â
Ownership will likely be strong on Thursday night.Â
West Coast
The West Coast defence led by Shannon Hurn WC (DK $5,800, DS $11,270) will likely play a significant role on Thursday night, the Eagles are an average of -8.5 Inside 50 Differential from their last 5 games which includes -18 in Round 16 against the Bulldogs.Â
With an under strength West Coast midfield set to play in Round 17 the defence may be under similar pressure defending inside 50s, if the game script plays out this way then expect additional opportunities for Hurn.Â

Value
Xavier O’Neill WCÂ (DK $4,000, DS $7,500) will likely see an increased workload in the West Coast midfield on Thursday night, the Eagles have their injury concerns which will test their depth but will also provide opportunity.
O’Neill averaged 50.3pts from his first 3 career AFL games but regressed for a low return on 21pts in Round 16.Â
O’Neill will likely be a popular target against the Saints, although Hamish Brayshaw will also see heavy ownership on debut. Both players are MID only options.Â
