Western Bulldogs

Josh Dunkley WB (DK $6,600, DS $13,650) scored 102pts in Round 16 recording 22 Disposals, 3 Marks, 9 Tackles & hitting the scoreboard with 1 Goal, he was used at limited centre bounce opportunities but impacted in general play.

The Hawks are the worst ranked team in the AFL this season conceding 320.2 Disposals per game, they have conceded 332.7 Disposals from their last 6 games (Rank 18).

Many will be attracted to the high score for Dunkley last round but equally many will be deterred by the limited centre bounces, given the ideal match-up he is worth considering.

Carlton

Patrick Cripps CAR (DK $7,100, DS $13,720) scored 91pts in Round 16 recording 17 Disposals, 4 Marks & 7 Tackles, he has averaged 83.9pts from his last 7 games (Season Ave: 78.5).

Carlton are still a live chance to play Finals this year albeit a remote possibility, they will be fully motivated which should result in a very high usage for Cripps in the midfield against an Adelaide team that has been poor in the midfield this season but in recent games has improved.

Given the salary for Cripps he is likely to be a popular selection, expect ownership to be moderate to strong.

Value

Finn Maginness HAW (DK $2,800, DS $5,000) will make his AFL debut on Sunday, he was selected at pick 29 in the 2019 AFL Draft.

Maginness is an elite ball winning midfielder/utility type that works extremely well in traffic & distributes the ball well in contested situations, he averaged 18.2 Disposals & 7.5 Tackles in the 2019 U18 Championships.

The price tag for Maginness will attract a high level of ownership despite his midfield only status, given any opportunity around the ball on Sunday he is highly likely to exceed value.
