Dylan Shiel was a high centre bounce usage player prior to his early season injury, he was used at 48.4% once he returned from injury in Round 19.
Jye Caldwell was expected to see pretty decent usage in 2021, his early season injury prevented any type of development through the middle of the ground.
Essendon do have midfield depth heading into the 2022 season, the challenge will be the centre bounce distribution if a healthy list is available to choose from at Round 1 in the 2022 H&A season.
