Erasmus enters the AFL as a good sized midfielder, he works well as a contested mid & has a high disposal rate.
He can also hit the scoreboard when moved forward, he has a strong ability to take contested marks.
“Obviously with losing Adam Cerra over the off-season, Neil will bring in some further depth into our midfield stocks along with Will Brodie and others we’ve introduced into the Club,”
“Neil also has some really good forward skills. He’s a very good overhead mark, he started out as a forward, he can hit the scoreboard and we think we can potentially use him up forward as well at 190cm.” Fremantle EGM of Football Peter Bell.

Erasmus averaged 28.0 Disposals & 7.8 Marks from 4 games for Subiaco in 2021, he was impacted by a quad injury at the back end of 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Fremantle added a highly talented midfielder to their playing list in Neil Erasmus, his short term fantasy prospects appear to be decent if opportunities are available in 2021.
The longer term fantasy prospects for Erasmus should be strong, he’s likely to become an integral part of the Fremantle midfield which should result in high centre bounce usage.
He can play forward & impact the scoreboard as well, which is likely to be his primary role early & his secondary role as he develops.
He’s a strong consideration at Round 1 in season long fantasy pending fitness & ability to work his way into the starting 22 at the Dockers, he should be a strong watch over pre-season.
Competition for spots at Fremantle is likely to be a fierce battle.
Erasmus is a mid-late round option in single season draft leagues, he’s a high priority in dynasty leagues.
