O’Driscoll has put on size in the off-season, he has a strong contested game playing as a midfielder.
Ryan Daniels (7 News Perth) was very bullish on O’Driscoll in the latest episode of the Plus Six Podcast.
“O’Driscoll missed all of last year, heap of injuries, played a little bit at Peel (Thunder)”
“He is a massive midfielder.”
“In terms of physicality, in terms of body shape & ceiling, this kid could be really something.” Daniels said.

In terms of making an early season debut in 2022, there is certainly an opportunity available to claim a midfield spot especially with the departure of Adam Cerra.
Nat Fyfe is also currently recovering from shoulder surgery.
O’Driscoll has an opportunity, and is clearly a watch over pre-season from a fantasy perspective.
“I would think he would be ahead of say (Matthew) Johnson & (Neil) Erasmus for early early opportunities,”
“I’ve got him on my watch list,”
“He’s still raw.”
“There’s talent there, serious talent & really good size.” Daniels added.

Fantasy Impact: Nathan O’Driscoll is a strong contested midfielder, his numbers were elite at junior level.
In 2021 he averaged 15.0 Disposals, 3.9 Marks & 2.7 Tackles in the WAFL.
A solid pre-season is likely to put O’Driscoll in the frame for selection early in 2022, his fantasy scoring output could be decent if he is used at a decent rate through the midfield.
O’Driscoll is a consideration in season long fantasy at Round 1 if he secures a place in the Fremantle midfield, based on his low starting salary he should exceed value.
He’s likely a late round speculative selection in single season draft leagues, but the midfield usage needs to be available.
