Dumont said he would play “wing & inside mid”, he also added the way Port Adelaide use the wing position would benefit his game & he would “go to work” on his craft to add to the midfield group.
He averaged 17.9 Disposals, 5.4 Marks & 1.9 Tackles from 14 games for Nth Melbourne in 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Trent Dumont averaged 70.3pts from 14 games in 2021 for the Kangaroos, he recorded a season high 102pts in Round 15 against Gold Coast.
He averaged a career season high of 88.1pts in 2019.

Dumont will be in a battle to secure a midfield spot at Port Adelaide, he does add depth at a minimum & could see multiple opportunities in 2022.
He’s likely a pass in season long fantasy at Round 1, there are likely better value options around the same price point.
Dumont is a late round speculative pick in single season draft leagues, there is upside scoring potential linked directly to his playing role.
