Lachlan Murphy will be sidelined for an extended period, he is set to undergo surgery on his neck.
Murphy has been diagnosed with a bulging disc, he is expected to resume contact training in 3 months.

Adelaide High Performance Manager Darren Burgess provided an update on Friday.
“While it’s disappointing for Lachlan to be missing the second half of the pre-season, the decision to have surgery will give him the best chance to return to football in full health,”
“We are pleased by the amount of work he has been able to do to this point and are confident he will return to his best this season.” Burgess said.
Murphy averaged 11.7 Disposals, 1.7 Marks & 2.3 Tackles from 15 games in 2021.
