2022 AFL Fantasy: Jesse Motlop

Sonsie averaged 23.0 Disposals, 2.6 Marks & 2.2 Tackles in the NAB League in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Tyler Sonsie will add midfield depth at Richmond, his opportunities might come through development & growth at the Tigers.

He’s very measured, works well in traffic & has good vision. He can also hit the scoreboard through his forward craft.

The short term fantasy outlook might be limited for Sonsie, previous history under Richmond senior coach Damien Hardwick suggests development will be a key to opportunities at AFL level.

His scoring outlook should be solid once he does progress to the highest level, his long term fantasy outlook is somewhat appealing but is certainly associated to his specific role.

Sonsie is likely a pass in season long fantasy at Round 1, it is worth tracking his progress over pre-season to to gauge his potential opportunities in 2022.

He’s a pass in single season draft leagues, he’s an option just beyond the early picks in dynasty leagues.
