2022 AFL Fantasy: Flynn Kroeger

Murley averaged 12.0 Disposals, 3.0 Marks & 2.8 Tackles from 4 games in the SANFL reserves in 2021, he averaged 29.7 Disposals, 6.0 Marks & 4.0 Tackles from 3 games in the SANFL U18’s.

Fantasy Impact: Cooper Murley will add a competitive dynamic to the Collingwood list, he can play through the midfield & as a forward.

He’s highly competitive & has good speed, he reads the play well & is a strong mark.

The short term fantasy prospects for Murley could be limited, he needs to develop physically in his first year while a small forward role early may provide only moderate scoring.

The long term prospects are likely to be directly linked to his role, a move further up the ground into the midfield should provide a solid scoring output but if he remains as a pressure forward the scoring is likely to be inconsistent.

Murley is likely a pass in season long fantasy at Round 1, it’s worth monitoring his progress at the lower level in 2022 for specific roles & scoring ability.

He’s a pass in single season draft leagues, he’s a speculative option just beyond the early selections in dynasty leagues. There is upside scoring potential based on any future midfield role.
