2022 AFL Fantasy: Flynn Kroeger

McDonagh averaged 20.7 Disposals, 4.9 Marks & 2.8 Tackles from 10 games in the VFL in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Garrett McDonagh will add an experienced dynamic to the Essendon list, at 25 he is ready to adapt to AFL immediately.

He has good speed & reads the play well, he has an ability to hit targets at a high rate & is a strong mark.

The short term fantasy prospects for McDonagh could be noteworthy, he’s likely to see opportunities at AFL level in 2022. His scoring output could be strong playing through a half-back role.

The longer term prospects could also be healthy, if he can fully establish a position in the best 22 at Essendon the scoring output could be strong & consistent.

McDonagh is a consideration at Round 1 in season long fantasy if he can secure a place in the team at the Bombers, keep him high on the radar over pre-season for specific role & scoring ability.

He’s an option in single season draft leagues likely as a mid-late round target, he’s a target just beyond the early selections in dynasty leagues. The reward could be instant.
