TOP 10 AFL FANTASY FORWARDS
1.Stephen Coniglio
After a couple of injury interrupted years Coniglio has had a very strong pre-season, he’ll be used through the midfield at a high rate in 2022 which should provide a quality return.
Projected Average: 105-110
2. Josh Dunkley
Dunkley could see a spike in centre bounce usage this year which should provide excellent fantasy scoring opportunities, there are likely a stack of high ceiling games available this year.
Projected Average: 105-110

3. Mitch Duncan
Duncan would have likely been ranked No.1 if not for an injury interrupted pre-season, he’ll be low owned early which could provide an early target option when he returns to full health.
Projected Average: 105-110
4. Tim Taranto
The likely early season forward role potentially trims a few points off the season average for Taranto, once the Giants have a full compliment of forwards back in the team he should be a target if he’s given a clear run back into any type of midfield role.
Projected Average: 100-105
2022 AFL Fantasy: Top 10 Midfielders
5. Adam Treloar
Treloar will run through the midfield at a decent rate this season, he’ll play a mix of inside and outside roles and has an ability to accumulate disposals with ease in optimal conditions.
Projected Average: 95-100
6. Zak Butters
The midfield role for Butters appears to be on this year which should see a solid increase in scoring output, he should see a sharp rise in centre bounce usage in 2022.
Projected Average: 95-100
7. Dustin Martin
A return back into a near pure midfield role for Martin should provide a strong increase in scoring output, back in 2017 his numbers were elite from a fantasy perspective with a high midfield role.
Projected Average: 95-100
8. Isaac Heeney
The Swans have continually promoted in the pre-season that Heeney will see more time in the midfield this year, he’ll start forward at times and drift through the midfield to provide assistance. Creating a mismatch in the forward line will also be an option for the Sydney coaching staff.
Projected Average: 95-100
9. Tarryn Thomas
Thomas should see strong usage through the midfield this year, his scoring output should become more consistent as he starts to hit his prime. He turns 22 early in the season.
Projected Average: 90-95
10. Steele Sidebottom
Sidebottom is an experienced ball winner getting to the right spots to accumulate disposals, even as the Magpies develop this year he’ll maintain a strong average across the season.
Projected Average: 90-95
