Ben Keays has provided clarity on his role this season.
On Monday he referenced on 5AA the flexibility that is being established through the Adelaide midfield and that he will be playing a mix of midfield and forward throughout the year.
“I’ve been mixing between forward and midfield group, just with the personnel we have and my ability as well, my strengths suited to some roles there.”
AFL News on Twitter @aflratings “I’ll be mixing and matching
between the two.”
“Just gives us flexibility, gives guys a chance to roll through there.”
“It’s about building that flexibility.” He said.
Fantasy Impact: Keays recorded 37 disposals in the season opener against Fremantle in Round 1, he was used at 76.9% of centre bounces.
With Jordan Dawson getting back to full fitness and the return of Rory Laird in the not too distant future the Adelaide midfield mix could prove to be volatile over the coming weeks.
