AFLRATINGS NEWS: Brisbane defender Luke Lloyd came from the ground on Thursday night with a left ankle concern.

He was assessed in the first quarter against the Suns and withdrawn from the game shortly after.

Lloyd is expected to undergo further assessment to determine the severity of the injury.

Brisbane play the Bulldogs in their season opener on Saturday March 7 at the Gabba.
