St Kilda confirmed a calf injury throughout the game.
Wood has undergone further assessment to determine the severity of the injury, he has been diagnosed with a left calf strain.
He is expected to miss at least the remainder of the H&A season.
St Kilda will likely provide a updates during his rehabilitation period.
