The Giants have a stack of mids available to play which will likely see role adjustments as early as this week.

McVeigh provided an update on Hopper and clarity on what to expect in the midfield at his weekly press conference.

“We’ve got to look at it obviously, we’ll manage that as the week goes on.”

“We obviously know how good he (Hopper) is as an inside midfielder and we’ll have to shuffle the decks.”

“We’d like to think everyone is available.”

“We’ll shuffle the decks to allow it to happen.”

“We’ve probably been a little different in the way we’ve moved the magnets and we might try and look at that again this week.”

“But we’ll have to shuffle the the decks to work it out.” he said.

McVeigh also confirmed they’ll discuss the ruck situation at match committee this week with Braydon Preuss, Kieren Briggs and Matt Flynn available.
