Voss resigns as Carlton coach

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Michael Voss has resigned as Carlton coach. 

Voss made the decision to stand down public on Tuesday, his decision to not coach beyond Round 9 was made ahead of last Thursday’s game against Brisbane.

He finishes as Carlton senior coach with a 49-1-53 record from 103 games.

Voss lead the Blues to a preliminary final in 2023.

Patrick Cripps won two Brownlow medals under Voss’ tenure.

Carlton is now in the the market for a new senior coach along with Tasmania.

The Devils are expected to announce their first senior coach at some point this year ahead of their entry into the AFL in 2028.
