Western Bulldogs half-back Matt Suckling will likely be available for selection in Round 8, Lachie Young may be the selection casualty.

“.. if he ticks the final boxes during the main session on Thursday, he will be available to play this weekend” Medical Services Manager, Chris Bell on Matt Suckling.

Western Bulldogs rookie Ben Cavarra won’t be available for selection in the short term after sustaining hamstring injury, he is on the radar for many fantasy coaches.

Carlton Ruck Matthew Kreuzer appears likely to be available for selection in Round 8, he missed last week due to an Adductor concern.

Carlton key forward Mitch McGovern also looks likely to make a return in Round 8 after a hamstring issue ruled him out for Round 7.

2019 Late Changes: Round 7

Port Adelaide midfielder Ollie Wines needs to overcome an Ankle concern ahead of Round 8, if somehow he missed then Tom Rockliff could see a bump in midfield usage.

News that could also hinder Tom Rockliff is the availability of Power forward/midfielder Brad Ebert, he needs to get through Concussion protocol this week in order to be made available for selection. If Ebert missed & Wines played then Rockliff could see a bump in forward usage.

Changes could also be on the cards at Port Adelaide this week after a 39pts loss to Collingwood in Round 7, Chad Cornes flagged this in a radio interview on Monday night.

Selection will be very interesting this week – Chad Cornes on Round 8 via @SportsdaySA.
