North Melbourne forward Taylor Garner injured his hamstring at training on Tuesday, he is set to miss an extended period.
Taylor underwent scans revealing a high grade strain.
Update May 29: Surgery is not required.
“We sent Taylor off immediately after he felt soreness in his hamstring. The imaging has revealed a high-grade strain”
“We will continue to assess things and make a call later in the week as to whether surgical intervention is required.” Kangaroos GM of Football Brady Rawlings.
Garner averaged 13.2 Disposals. 3.6 Marks & 3.0 Tackles from 9 games in 2019.

Garner is set to miss a significant period of the AFL season which should ease any pressure on Curtis Taylor to hold his position in the Kangaroos team.
Garner is not considered an option in season long fantasy.
