“The incident for Rory was very high grade. He plantarflexed, inverted the ankle and we had to get him off, assess the ankle, strap it. As Rory always does, he finds a way to get through the game,”

“He pulled up after the game really quite sore with a fair bit of swelling, so we’re in a bit of a race against time to get him right for the weekend.”

“We think that he will get up, but we’ll be leaving a test until the very last minute.” Crows Head of Science and Medicine Steve Saunders.

Sloane is averaging 14.5 Disposals, 0.5 Marks & 4.3 Tackles from his opening 4 games in 2020.

AFL FANTASY TAKE

Sloane has had an extremely slow start to the year due to multiple in game injury concerns, his salary has dropped significantly in AFL Fantasy classic which makes him a target as a discounted midfield option when he returns to full health & bottoms out in price.

The Crows find themselves in a rebuild situation, which does throw up endless problems for fantasy coaches in potential role changes & job security situations.

Matt Crouch was omitted last week, he’ll come into consideration for the Crows in Round 5.
