Hine suggested that Daicos would play in a half-back/wing type role in his first year at Collingwood.
“He really presents as a multi-dimensional player, his vision & ball use is really high.”
“He wold have been very close to our (best) 22 this year (in 2021).”
“We’ve got to make sure we plan his development,”
“I think potentially he’ll roll through sort of high-back/wing type roles” Magpies GM of List Management Derek Hine via Road to the Draft podcast.
FANTASY IMPACT: Nick Daicos had the ability to accumulate disposals at a high rate at NAB League level, he averaged 35.8 Disposals & 5.8 Marks from 5 games in 2021. He also has the ability to hit the scoreboard.
He should be able to impact from a fantasy perspective in 2021, the forecast role across half-back/wing should suit his game & early development at AFL level.

Daicos is a high consideration for season long fantasy at Round 1, he should be able to exceed value based on his low starting salary.
He’s a potential mid-round selection in single season draft leagues, he’s a priority to draft in dynasty/keeper leagues.
