Budarick came from the ground in Q2 and was ruled out of the game at half time.

The Bulldogs confirmed an ankle injury throughout the game.
Budarick has undergone further assessment to determine the severity of the injury, he will undergo surgery this week on a syndesmosis ligament.

“During the second term of Friday’s game, Connor Budarick had his ankle caught and twisted in a tackle,”

There is no current timeline available for a return.
The Bulldogs will likely provide updates during his rehabilitation period.

Budarick averaged 19.7 disposals, 5.3 marks and 2.0 tackles prior to Round 17 (AF PPM: 0.97).
