📈 Patrick Dangerfield (MB $10,400, DS $15,000)
After an interrupted start to the year Patrick Dangerfield has yet to hit a decent ceiling from his 5 games, he opened his 2018 campaign with 118pts against the Hawks in Round 2. In the last 4 games Dangerfield has averaged 93.5pts recording a season low 70pts against the Swans last week, he has scored 100pts or more in only 2 games over the same period.
The recent record for Dangerfield against the Giants does open up the possibility of a return to form, he averaged 128.0pts from 2 games last season and has scored 100pts or more in his last 3 games against GWS.
Dangerfield is likely to be a popular target for many DFS players on Friday night, his salary on DS is quite appealing. Going heavy on Danger tonight could turn out to be a fruitful option.
↘ Dylan Shiel (MB $8,400, DS $12,850)
It hasn’t been a particularly bright start to the season for Shiel averaging 87.3pts per game, after scoring 104pts in Round 1 he has averaged 84.0 since. Shiel scored 100pts or more in just 24.0% of games last season (Incl. Finals), so far in 2018 he has just 1 100pt game.
Shiel averaged 79.0pts in 2 games against Geelong last year, his highest score against the Cats was 114pts in Round 11, 2016 at GMHBA Stadium. GWS played at Geelong in Round 23 last year, Scott Selwood tagged Dylan Shiel resulting in a 78pt game.
It’s mostly a fade for Shiel on Friday night, it is unlikely he is going to exceed his salary expectations.
