📈 Taylor Adams (MB $8,600, DS $14,550)
The year so far for Adams has been poor and injury interrupted, but last week he finally found some form scoring 124pts is a losing game against Geelong (Noteworthy: Scott Pendlebury did not play). Adams has scored 100pts or more in only 1 game this season, in 2017 he scored 100pts or more in 68.2% of games & 120pts or more in 36.4% of games.
St Kilda are returning from Perth having conceded 400 Disposals for the 3rd consecutive game, the Saints have conceded an average of 413.7 Disposals from their last 3 games (Rank 16). Collingwood are averaging 406.1 Disposals per game this season (Rank 1), they have recorded six 400 Disposal games which is three more than any other team.
Even with the return of Pendlebury this could be a good spot for Adams to continue on from last week, he is a high ceiling player that warrants attention anytime but especially when he is at a decent salary. Moderately throw him in your line-ups today.
📈 Mitch Duncan (MB $10,100, DS $15,500)
Duncan is settling in to the season quite well averaging 106.7pts from his last 3 games (Season Ave: 102.2pts, he has scored 100pts or more in 4 of 6 games but is yet to exceed 120pts in a game this season. Last year Duncan averaged 115.2pts (Incl. Finals), he scored 100pts or more in 70.8% of games & 120pts or more in 33.3% of games.
The season for Essendon has imploded after high expectations; they have conceded a respectable 376.4 average Disposals this season. The experience of the Geelong midfield against the Essendon is telling with 4 players averaging 25.0 Disposals or more.
Duncan is a worthwhile consideration for the Saturday slate, he does have a high ceiling especially against lower ranked teams. It is recommended throwing him in a few of your line-ups.
