NEWS
It was a very light day for fantasy news so we’ll keep it very short & sweet for fantasy coaches.
Last season 21 players debuted in Round 1, 8 of those players completed a H&A season of 20 or more games:
Tom Doedee (AFL Fantasy Ave: 72.5, SuperCoach Ave: 82.2)
Cam Rayner (AFL Fantasy Ave: 60.4, SuperCoach Ave: 93.2)
Paddy Dow (AFL Fantasy Ave: 55.5, SuperCoach Ave: 59.6)
Jaidyn Stephenson (AFL Fantasy Ave: 64.5, SuperCoach Ave: 64.0)
Bailey Banfield (AFL Fantasy Ave: 64.2, SuperCoach Ave: 63.4)
Tim Kelly (AFL Fantasy Ave: 86.5, SuperCoach Ave: 93.2)
Bayley Fristch (AFL Fantasy Ave: 73.3, SuperCoach Ave: 75.2)
Billy Gowers (AFL Fantasy Ave: 59.7, SuperCoach Ave: 61.2)
Dayne Zorko provided a Friday update on Ely Smith, Thomas Joyce & Lachie Neale, while there isn’t much in the way of news the quick grab is a worthwhile listen.

AFL FANTASY ANALYSIS
Injuries & poor form were a big reason Aaron Hall struggled to make a fantasy impact in 2018, after averaging 98.2pts in 2017 he managed to average of 71.7pts from just 6 games last season. Hall was traded to the Kangaroos during the recent Trade Period, he has played 103 career games averaging 19.3 Disposals.
Hall scored 100pts or more in 33.3% of games & 120pts or more from 0.0% of games in 2018, this was a significant regression compared to 2017.

Hall appears to be value compared to his previous fantasy history, moving to a Nth Melbourne team that doesn’t put up huge fantasy numbers under Brad Scott is a genuine concern.
Nth Melbourne averaged 367.8 Disposals in the 2018 H&A season (Rank 14), the Kangaroos averaged 368.6 Disposals in the 2017 H&A season (Rank 14).
Hall is coming off a season ending pectoral muscle injury, since the start of the 2015 H&A season he has played in only 64.8% of games.
Hall will be a popular watch list player over the pre-season, identifying his new role & fantasy scoring ability at Nth Melbourne will be a critical element in the decision making process.
