Culley underwent further assessment to determine the severity of the injury.
He’ll miss the remainder of the 2026 season with a ruptured ACL.
“Unfortunately for Jai, scans have confirmed that he has ruptured his ACL, which will require a knee reconstruction,”
“It’s a really tough blow for him, particularly given the way he has been going about his footy and the consistency he has been able to build this year.” Melbourne GM of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson.
It is the opposite knee to which Culley ruptured his ACL in 2023.
