There is more clarity in the role for Will Gould this season, Swans senior coach John Longmire provided insight into his thoughts for this season via @RileyBev.
Gould didn’t play in 2020 after being selected at pick 26 in the 2019 AFL Draft, Longmire praised his pre-season thus far.
“He’s had a terrific pre-season so far, he works really hard & that will give him the best chance this year as well”

Gould played across half-back prior to being drafted in 2019, he’ll be looking to make his AFL debut in a what could be a variety of roles this season.
“He’s another one that we think can play whether it’s that intercept marking role or he can give us some punch off half-back or being able to play on those 3rd talls at that size.”
“That’s an option for him in our team” Longmire added.

The fantasy synopsis for Gould remains unchanged:
Gould was unable to make his debut in 2020, it appears he has returned to pre-season in good physical condition & should be on track to play early in the 2021 season.
The position for Gould is quite significant, a role across half-back is likely to provide plenty of opportunities to score well from a fantasy perspective.Â
