Adelaide

Rory Laird is off to an outstanding start to his season through the midfield, he has been used at 78.3% of team centre bounces this season (Adelaide Rank: 1).

Nth Melbourne have conceded a league worst average of 416.3 Disposals this season, they have conceded an average of 437.0 Disposals from their last 2 games.

Laird will attract a fair amount of ownership without Rory Sloane this week, a ceiling game should be in-play.

Geelong

Cam Guthrie has elevated his game to yet another level through the midfield this season, he is averaging 117.3pts this year which included 153pts last week.

Guthrie has been used at 65.0% of team centre bounces this season, he hasn’t seen usage below 60.0% this season.

Ownership will likely be moderate, his contested game should be suited to expected wet conditions on Sunday.

Value

It was a quiet start for Will Phillips in his AFL debut last week, he recorded just 9 Disposals for 34pts.

Phillips was used at only 8.8% of team centre bounces, that has a chance to increase on Sunday without Jed Anderson who is sidelined through injury.

Phillips is a contested ball inside midfielder, if given an increased role through the midfield he should be in a position to exceed value.
