Zach Merrett is putting together another fine fantasy season, he is averaging 114.5pts which includes a couple of decent ceiling games recently (Round 15-16 Ave: 148.0).

Adelaide haven’t really been a team to shut down opposition mids for an entire game, expect Merrett to find plenty of open space at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.

Another ceiling type game should be in play, expect strong ownership.

Rory Laird has had strong midfield & centre bounce usage all season, he has an excellent fantasy game that can tap into a high ceiling output.

He has scored 100pts or more in 73.3% of games this season, he has scored 120pts or more in 20.0% of games. 

Essendon aren’t really a team to lock down on an opposition midfielder, expect Laird to find plenty of fantasy scoring opportunities on Friday night. 

Expect strong ownership.

Following a quiet stretch through the middle part of the season Lachie Sholl bounced back last week recording 28 Disposals & 5 Marks, he won most of his ball across half-back & on the wing. 

In the early part of the season Sholl was able to hit a few ceiling type games, there is plenty of upside potential based on his salary on Friday night.

Expect moderate to strong ownership.
