“Robbie has played at an outstanding level for an extended period of time, and we believe he has plenty more good football left in him.” Richmond GM of Football Talent Blair Hartley via Tigers Media.
Tarrant averaged 14.5 Disposals, 6.7 Marks & 1.0 Tackles from 10 games for the Kangaroos in 2021.
TRADE DETAILS
Nth Melbourne receive:
Callum Coleman-Jones, pick 42,47 & 2022 4th Rd
Richmond receive:
Robbie Tarrant, pick 40, 2022 2nd Rd
FANTASY IMPACT: Robbie Tarrant averaged 60.3pts from 10 games for the Kangaroos in 2021, he scored a season high 110pts in Round 16 against the Western Bulldogs.
He will be used as a key position defender at the Tigers next season, he can post decent scores from a fantasy perspective but a consistent strong scoring output is unlikely.

Tarrant is a pass in season long fantasy at Round 1, he could be worth a very late selection in draft leagues if his usage appears to be high in defence over pre-season games for the Tigers but it’s very much a speculative selection.
