Fantasy Impact: It was a breakout season for Sean Darcy at the ruck position in 2021, despite several injury situations he averaged a career high 93.9pts.
He scored 100pts or more in 42.9% of games, he recorded a season high 133pts in Round 9 against Essendon.
Darcy was restricted at times throughout the year, this resulted in playing as a deep forward multiple times in 2021.
His scoring output remained strong despite the forward usage, he also started to show an ability to hit high ceiling games.
Darcy is a strong consideration at Round 1 in season long fantasy, ownership projections will be an interesting watch over pre-season with several other options available at his salary range.
He might go well ahead of expected ADP in single season draft leagues, expect him to be targeted early.
