Will Gould provided an update on his pre-season this week, the soon to be 21 year old will be looking to break through at AFL level in 2022.
Gould was selected at pick 26 in the 2019 AFL Draft, he is yet to make his AFL debut.

Gould said this week that he’s continuing to improve his fitness, mainly looking to better his “endurance” & “repeat power”.
“I’ve come back running reasonably well, I just see it as a continuing improvement for the whole pre-season, hopefully can get that up to speed & get ready to go.” Gould said.
His individual goals for the pre-season remain narrow focused for the short term.
“Run a good little 2K’er, improve my time after the Christmas break, keep the weight down & focus on my handballing skills” Gould added.
Gould averaged 15.7 Disposals, 3.9 Marks & 1.9 Tackles from 10 games in the VFL in 2021.

Gould would be a popular option in season long fantasy at Round 1 if he can make his AFL debut, he should exceed value based on his starting salary.
He’s likely a pass in single season draft leagues.
