2022 AFL Fantasy: Eric Benning

Jackson averaged 29.3 Disposals from 16 games in the SANFL U18s in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Hugh Jackson will add depth to the midfield group at Port Adelaide, he’s coming off recent surgery & won’t return to full training for a period of time.

He’s highly competitive & reads the play well, he also has good vision & awareness through traffic at speed.

The short term fantasy prospects for Jackson are likely limited, coming off surgery & lightly framed the 2022 season will be used for development.

The longer term prospects could be healthy, he can accumulate disposals at a high rate through the midfield. A wing/running half-back role would provide a solid scoring output.

Jackson likely won’t be an option in season long fantasy in the early part of 2022, Port Adelaide are likely to be patient in his first year.

He’s a pass in single season draft leagues, he’s an option beyond the early picks in dynasty leagues with potential upside in his scoring output.
