Wingard did very little running – mainly restricted to skills work across the half-forward line.
CJ with similar output.
Downie restricted to running laps.
Not sighted (But may have been present):
Denver Grainger-Barras
Will Day
Jarman Impey
No full ground match-simulation, groups did split into three areas of the ground for speciality training.
Midfield – Ben McEvoy & Ned Reeves completed most of the ruck work with Lynch the least, a high number of midfielders rotated at centre bounce clearance drills including Josh Ward who did flip out onto the wing at some re-starts.
The mix included heavily experienced midfielders in Tom Mitchell & Jaeger O’Meara, Jai Newcombe was also an integral part of the drills.

Defence – James Sicily was a feature down back with his ability to take solid marks in one on one contests.
Kick-ins were performed by Blake Hardwick, James Sicily and Daniel Howe.
Forwards – Notably Ben McEvoy did some work with this group for a period of time, Jack Gunston was quite solid with his output.
To finish off training, the squad was split into three small groups. A mix of experience and youth were tasked with moving the ball from kick-in to a forward 50 entry target.
This drill was completed all at once which created heavy traffic over the entire ground.
Notably Tom Mitchell & Josh Ward were grouped together & worked quite well in this drill, the pair looked to have built a strong rapport over pre-season.
