AFL Fantasy News: Brynn Teakle is on the radar to play this season.
This according to Port Adelaide assistant coach Brett Montgomery on Monday.
Senior coach Ken Hinkley said the preference was not to play Charlie Dixon and Jeremy Finlayson in the ruck position all the time post-game against Richmond.
Both Hinkley and Montgomery were pleased with clearances and overall impact against the Tigers, but both have acknowledged Teakle is an option in the immediate future for Port Adelaide.
Teakle remains in a learning phase since being selected at pick 8 in the mid-season draft.

Montgomery provided the latest update at a press conference on Monday.
“Whether we do or we don’t (play Teakle this week), the temptation will certainly be there.”
“We loved what he did (SANFL), he’s an infectious character since the day he arrived.”
“It’s been quite exciting.”
“He’s fitted in quite well, he’s taking in a huge amount of information.”

“His performance was really really good.”
“If we do, he’ll still be learning.”
“He’ll still be raw, and it will be certainly an education and work on the run.”
“I don’t think that will prevent us from picking him, but whether it’s this week or not it’s coming.” Montgomery said.
