AFLRATINGS NEWS: Jake Lever was assessed for a knee concern on Saturday.
He came from the ground in Q3 and did not return.
Senior coach Simon Goodwin said following the game that Lever will undergo scans.
Lever underwent scans on Sunday which ruled out any significant structural damage.
Melbourne remain optimistic on his availability for Round 3.
