AFLRATINGS NEWS: West Coast senior coach Andrew McQualter has provided an update on the role for Liam Baker in 2025.Â
McQualter stated on Monday that Baker will begin the upcoming season playing in defence.

He added that Baker has the ability to play at either end of the ground as well as through the midfield but reiterated he will start the new season in the backline.
Baker was traded to the Eagles during the recent trade period.Â
He averaged 19.9 disposals, 3.3 marks and 3.8 tackles from 18 games in 2024 (AFL Fantasy Ave: 78.5).
