He came from the ground in Q1 and was immediately subbed out of the game.

Simpson will undergo AC joint surgery on Monday, he is expected to miss approximately 10 weeks (via Fremantle).
“This is a relatively rare injury and the best intervention is to head in for surgery,”
“We will know more on timeframes post the procedure, but at this stage we expect Coop to be back playing in around 10 weeks.” Fremantle EGM of Football Joe Brierty.
Fremantle will likely provide updates during Simpson’s rehabilitation period.
