Injury Update: Jason Horne-Francis

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Port Adelaide midfielder Jason Horne-Francis has been sidelined from pre-season training.

He will undergo a minor procedure to remove a plate from his left foot.

Horne-Francis was removed from training on Monday due to discomfort.

Horne-Francis fractured his foot in July this year in which he had a plate inserted to assist with his recovery.

It was expected the plate was to be removed in December but that will now be removed earlier.

Horne-Francis is set to return to pre-season training in December.

Port Adelaide will likely provide an update during his rehabilitation period.
