Charlie Curnow has been ruled out for the start of the 2020 H&A season, he underwent knee surgery in November & is continuing through his rehabilitation program.

“We’ve ruled out the start of the season, which is kind of nice to know. It means I don’t have to rush back.”

“I can take my time to look after the knee and do all the right processes before I make my return to the field.” Charlie Curnow.

Curnow averaged 12.3 Disposals, 4.5 Marks & 1.6 Goals from 11 games for the Blues in 2019.

“He won’t be available for the start of the season.. we expected it to take a bit of time to recover.” Carlton Director of High Performance, Andrew Russell.

Curnow is a pass for classic & now will likely slide off draft boards in deep draft leagues.

Another Carlton key forward Harry McKay is also recovering from a groin injury, the Blues forward line may be severely interrupted early in the 2020 season.
